Come and sing with us

Monmouth Choral Society is pleased to welcome new members whether Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass.  The size of the choir is maintained at around 130 voices with a set numbers of singers in each section to provide balance - new members are accepted subject to vacancy in the relevant voice section.  Also, with some of the pieces that we sing, it may be on occasion be necessary to split each section into firsts and seconds.  The majority of rehearsals are held weekly, on Tuesday evenings at Bridges Community Centre, Drybridge Road, Monmouth during school term times.

Membership currently stands at about 130 members and is determined by passing an audition - it is subject to vacancy in the relevant voice section*.  The annual subscription is currently £80 (£73 concessions).

*Please note that the choir is currently close to full capacity.  However, please do not let this stop you from showing interest, or from having an audition - you will then be well placed as and when a vacancy arises.
