A very versatile soprano, Julie's solo performances range from
Monteverdi, through Baroque and Classical works to Beethoven,
Rachmaninov and Mahler, in venues which include St John’s Smith
Square and the Royal Albert Hall. She recently created the roles
of Hummingbird and Iris in Ed Hughes’s The Birds for The
Opera Group, sang Britten's War Requiem with the CBSO,
performed Tippett’s Negro Spirituals with The Sixteen,
and featured on the soundtrack of the Ridley Scott film
Kingdom of Heaven singing the Pie Jesu.
